The short version: We collect your email when you join our waitlist. We use it only to contact you about CHORDAQ. We never sell your data. You can unsubscribe anytime.

1. Who We Are

CHORDAQ ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website chordaq.com. We are a sleep wellness brand building products for the US and EU markets. For privacy inquiries, contact us at hello@chordaq.com.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

Email address — when you join our waitlist via the form on chordaq.com.
Submission timestamp — recorded automatically when you submit the form.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal data at this stage. We do not use cookies for tracking beyond standard analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used solely for the following purposes:

To send you the free 7-Night Deep Sleep Protocol PDF (when available).
To notify you when CHORDAQ products launch.
To send you founding member offers and updates about CHORDAQ.

We will never use your email for unrelated marketing, third-party promotions, or automated profiling.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Waitlist submissions are currently stored in Google Sheets, operated by Google LLC, under their standard data processing terms. Google's infrastructure is based in the United States. By submitting your email, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in the US.

When we transition to a dedicated email platform (Klaviyo), we will update this policy accordingly.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be processed by the following service providers strictly to operate our waitlist:

Google LLC (Google Sheets — data storage)
Cloudflare Inc. (website hosting and security)

6. Your Rights (EU/GDPR & California/CCPA)

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Deletion — Request that we delete your data from our records.
Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate data.
Withdraw consent — Unsubscribe from communications at any time.
Portability — Request your data in a portable format.

7. Unsubscribing

You may unsubscribe from CHORDAQ communications at any time by emailing hello@chordaq.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe." We will remove your data within 7 business days.

8. Data Retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until 24 months after the CHORDAQ product launch, whichever comes first. After this period, data is permanently deleted.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted their data, please contact us immediately at hello@chordaq.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our operations grow (for example, when we add a payment processor or email platform). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
